Immigration Process

To many, the process of immigration to the United States via the EB-5 Foreign Investor program may seem complex, but it doesn’t have to be with Global Premier America Regional Center. We are committed to assisting and guiding each and every immigrant investor in completing the immigration process, from the initial application (Form I-526) to making sure they meet the requirements, and finally, to receiving a permanent green card. We will be working closely with the foreign national or immigrant investor, as well as his or her immigration attorney, in the preparation of all necessary documents to support the application.

There are ten steps in the self-petitioning process of acquiring a green card (lawful permanent residence) through the EB-5 category. These are listed below.

IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A GREEN CARD THROUGH THE EB-5 VISA PROGRAM, THE INVESTOR MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS:

STEP 1. Complete the Accredited Investor Questionnaire Form

STEP 2. Sign the GPARC Subscription Agreement and Wire Transfer administration fee to escrow account.

STEP 3. Select an immigration attorney and Sign engagement letter and fee agreement. Send all immigration related I-526 documents to U.S. attorney for filing.

STEP 4. Wire Transfer EB5 subscription fee and administration fee to project escrow account.

STEP 5. Await I-526 application file review by USCIS

STEP 6. Complete interview, health check at U.S. consulate in home country

STEP 7. Receive Immigrant VISA approval

STEP 8. Travel to the USA and receive conditional greencard

STEP 9. After two years, your selected U.S. attorney will submit I-829 application to USCIS for a permanent (unconditional) greencard.

STEP 10. After five years, U.S. Citizenship may be obtained for you and your family. (optional)
