EB-5 Subscription Process

HOW DOES THE EB-5 SUBSCRIPTION PROCESS WORK?

First, the interested investors shall receive comprehensive offering materials. The said offering materials shall contain details on the U.S. Immigrant Investor Program as well as detailed information on the Global Premier America Regional Center and offering.

Investors who select a qualifying investment will be required to execute a subscription agreement to a designated Regional Center limited partnership, and must deposit administration and full subscription fee to the escrow agent for the fund.

If the qualifying investor currently resides in the United States and has a non-immigrant visa, they will need to be qualified as an “Accredited Investor.” This means that as an accredited investor, they are permitted to invest in certain kinds of higher-risk investments, hedge funds, limited partnerships and angel investor networks.

THE ACCREDITED INVESTOR

In order to be considered an accredited investor in the United States, you must have a net worth of at least US$1-million, or have at least made US$200,000 each year for the last two years, $300,000 if you are married. You are also expected to make the same amount in the current year. Upon approval of the investor’s immigration application, the investment amounts shall be released to the designated limited partnership. Should the investor’s immigration application be denied, however, the investment amounts shall be released back to the investor.
